Site Coordinator - Falcon Health Center

Falcon Health Center, a subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is now accepting applications for a Site Coordinator. The Site Coordinator oversees the day-to-day operations in his/her practice, assures that all medical equipment and all other physical properties are maintained and are in good operational condition, and effectively plans and directs practice operations by coordinating business office and clinical activities to achieve maximum expense control and productivity of staff and physicians/providers.

Job Duties:

  • Maintains time cards and processes payroll accurately and timely.
  • Institutes policies and procedures in such areas as scheduling, registration, billing and collections: oversees adherence to these policies and procedures.
  • Insures and verifies the collection of correct and adequate patient and insurance information.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings.
  • Actively participates in marketing of practice and promotes practice through community involvement.

Shift Details:

Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Shift: Day Shift 8:00am to 5:00pm

 

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited business college: in lieu of formal education, a high school graduate with a minimum of five years experience as a medical office manager, preferably family practice or internal medicine.

Preferred Experience:

  • Thorough working knowledge of all aspects of medical office operations including data and communication systems.
  • Excellent financial management and reporting skills focusing on cost containment, reimbursement, and collection practices.
  • Knowledge of insurance industry.
