Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for an Athletic Trainer within our Rehab Services department. The Athletic Trainer provides personal care and professional excellence by providing patient care services as specified under the direction of a qualified supervisor.
Job Duties:
Delivers direct patient care including sports medicine evaluations, treatment planning and home exercise programs that are age and diagnosis appropriate.
Evaluates progress, adjusts treatment approach as necessary and completes all documentation timely.
When at the High School, keeps accurate records of athletes with injuries and demonstrates appropriate care and communication between athletes, coaches and parents.
Properly supervises and effectively instructs supportive staff as needed.
