Aquatic Instructor / Rehab Aide

Wood County Hospital is now accepting applications for a Rehab Aide/Aquatics Instructor. The Rehab Aide/Aquatics Instructor provides personal care and professional excellence by preparing, maintaining and cleaning up of treatment areas; transporting equipment when necessary; performing patient related activities; performing treatment procedures predetermined by a physical therapist and in accordance with the training of the aide; caring for equipment and supplies; assembles and disassembles equipment and accessories; performs special duties as assigned; assists in orientation of volunteers and students. Organizing and conducting safe aquatic classes.
Keeps the pool area safe and demonstrates the ability to coordinate and instruct aquatic classes.
Demonstrates knowledge and skill in pool operations.
Assists in orientation of volunteers, pre-physical therapy students, and shadows.
Assists in patient treatment as determined by the physical therapist, physical therapist assistant, athletic trainer or occupational therapist.
