Wood County Hospital is currently seeking a part time CPR Coordinator. The CPR Coordinator is responsible for maintaining American Heart Association Accreditation for Wood County Hospital. The positions oversees the operations of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advances Life Support (PALS) for the training programs offered through Wood County Hospital and the AHA Training Center.
Job Duties:
Adhere to AHA Training Center requirements for programs and instructors in order to maintain AHA Training Center accreditation
Maintain current rosters of available courses, instructors, and external training sites
Complete performance appraisals of instructors per AHA Training Center guidelines
Organize, publicize, and coordinate resuscitation courses as well as appropriate instructors and materials
Collaborate with Wood County Hospital employees, external organizations, and community members for enrollment in appropriate courses, procurement of certification cards, and payment
Shift Detail: 20 hours per week
Requirements:
High School Diploma
Current America Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), required
Current AHA Healthcare Provider BLS instructor certification required, or able to obtain within 6 months of hire
Previous experience with AHA Training Center requirements, preferred
Paramedic experience, preferred
