Registration Lead - Falcon Health Center
Falcon Health Center, a subsidiary of Wood County Hospital, is seeking a Registration Lead. Among other things, the lead provides support and professional excellence for the efficient and orderly registration of patients. Ensures that the highest level of customer service is provided while patient information is accurately collected, and that registration staff is aware of and compliant with Falcon Health Center’s policies and procedures.
MAJOR TASKS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides hands-on training for new and established Medical Office Receptionist staff. This will include system training (EHR), insurance verification platforms, patient workflow processes.
- Responsible for answering questions and sharing on-call for evenings and weekends.
- Acts as liaison between staff and management concerning daily registration processes.
- Responsible for regularly scheduled audits to ensure that all processes are being completed daily.
- Run and reviews insurance verification/ validation software and follows-up with employees on their productivity.
- Responsible for assisting the manager in the development of the Customer Service initiatives for the department.
- Oversees Medical Office Receptionists including staff schedules, and orientation with manager.
- Assists in billing and charging for encounters of Falcon Health Center and the SEBO Center, following up on any unbilled encounters.
- All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Associate’s degree required.
- In lieu of Associates’ degree, a high school graduate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in health care or physician office environment.
